Terms of Service

The terms governing use of AuctionHelper.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AuctionHelper platform ("Service"), operated by AuctionHelper ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid eBay account to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. eBay account connection

The Service integrates with eBay via OAuth. You control what permissions we hold at any time and may revoke our access from your eBay account settings. We will only take actions on your eBay account that you have explicitly consented to via the OAuth consent screen and any in-product confirmations.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate eBay's Marketplace Policies, applicable laws, or third-party rights. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to fraudulent listings, misrepresentation of items, and violations of intellectual property.

4. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy and Data Handling Policy. We do not sell, aggregate, or share your data with third parties beyond what is required to operate the Service.

5. Marketplace data

Data fetched from eBay (active listings, sold comps, categories, etc.) is displayed to you subject to eBay's API terms and our cache-retention practices. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of marketplace data. Always verify a listing on eBay before making a purchase or pricing decision.

6. Fees

Some Service features may be available on a paid subscription basis. All fees are stated at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except as required by law.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or as required by law. Upon termination we will delete or de-identify your data in accordance with our Data Handling Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
